Progress made over the last four years relating to propagation in the interplanetary medium, and acceleration and escape mechanisms in the regions near the planets other than earth is discussed. Review of energetic particles of Jovian origin includes ten-hour variations in the electron flux, origin and escape from the magnetosphere, propagation in the interplanetary medium, Jovian electron observations, and interplanetary protons of Jovian origin. Energetic particles in interplanetary space of earth origin and from other planets, such as Mercury and Saturn, are also considered.
