We discuss in detail the relation between the total variations in angular momentum and mass of the central black hole in the Blandford-Znajek on one hand and the ratio between mass accretion and energy extraction on the other. On this basis we discussed the effect of the B-Z process on the radius of the inner edge of the black-hole accretion disk. We also show that in this process, the entropy of the central black hole always increases.
