The diurnal variations of the number of near-earth sporadic radio bursts at frequencies of 38 and 325 MHz are plotted for October 24, 25, and 26, 1984 and for December 10, 11, and 12, 1984. These data are correlated with the time distribution of chromospheric flares of a specified importance, meter and centimeter wave solar radio emission, and the increment of the H-component of the geomagnetic field. The data indicate that there is an integral connection between the background near-earth sporadic radio emission and solar activity, and that this connection is implemented by the solar wind.
