The dereddened (U-B) vs (B-V) two-color diagram of all T Tauri stars for which UBV colors and reddening data are available is investigated. Indications are found for the existence of two separate subgroups in the distribution of the T Tauri stars in this diagram. The stars of one group have dereddened (U-B) indices greater than or about zero, while those of the other have dereddened (U-B) indices less than or about zero. The presence of such subgroups is not visible in the uncorrected UBV data. A tentative interpretation in terms of evolutionary effects is given.
