The longitudinal dependence of fluxes of secondary electrons with
energies exceeding 100 MeV was determined on the basis of Intercosmos-17
measurements at a height of 500 km in the L range of 1.4-1.8. This
dependence is explained by the anisotropy of the angular distribution of
secondary electrons at the atmospheric boundary.
