We outline plans for future test beam experiments on coherent radio Cherenkov radiation, in particular those induced by hadronic showers at laboratory facilities. A high degree of symmetry, exploitation of exact solutions and exact features of radiation, and deliberate over-determination of observables are intrinsic to the experimental design. .
