A third lensed image has been found in the gravitational lens system 2016+112. It is located near 2016+112 C, the strongest radio source in the system, and was detected by observations with the Palomar 5 m telescope in a narrowband filter centered on the Lyman α emission of the two previously known images. Resolved, low-surface-brightness companions of the two brighter images (A and B) were also discovered in the narrowband image. Simple model-independent calculations indicate M ≥ 1.2x1012h-1M_sun; and M/LB ≥ 21 h(M_sun;/L_sun;) for the lensing object. Furthermore, this mass must be concentrated within a circle of radius 8.3 h-1kpc, or the total lens mass must greatly exceed this lower bound.
