As part of a long-term study of a complete sample of lobe-dominated quasars (LDQs), we have obtained high-resolution radio images of the nucleus of the LDQ 3C207 at two epochs with the NRAO Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA). The observations were made on 2 September 1995 and 30 January 1998 at a frequency of 8.4 GHz, yielding images with a resolution of approximately 1 milliarcsecond (mas). The one-sided, parsec-scale jet in the nucleus of 3C207 is among the longest (about 8 mas) jets seen in LDQs, and it has the strongest curvature (covering a range of 30 degrees) of any LDQ jet. The structural variations in 3C207 are also among the most pronounced in any LDQ nucleus. For the two epochs we report on here, there are two jet features which show apparent superluminal motion at about 4 times the speed of light (assuming a Hubble constant of 100 km/s/Mpc and a deceleration parameter of 0.5). Individual jet components vary in position angle between epochs, and one component that was apparently concealed at the first epoch was quite bright at the second epoch. Taken together, these structural variations are suggestive of jet motion along a helical trajectory.
