We present Adaptive Optics (AO) observations of nearby low-mass stars from the galactic halo. Data collected at the Lick observatory resolve two halo stars into previously unsuspected binary systems. The high proper motion stars LSPM J1332+2412 (=LHS 2749), LSPM J1400+4741 (=LHS 2840), and LSPM 1440+4132 (=LHS 2963) resolved into pairs with angular separations of 0.27, 2.5, and 0.41 seconds of arc, respectively. At their estimated distances of 39, 44, and 70 parsecs, the pairs have projected orbital separations of 10.5 AU, 110 AU, and 28.7 AU respectively. Long-term astrometric monitoring could provide direct mass estimates and constrain the mass-luminosity relationship of old, metal-poor stars.
