Techniques previously developed for the production of general-relativistic models of the universe which contain interacting matter and blackbody radiation are extended to include models with internal energy and with nonzero cosmological constant. The material content of the model obeys a polytropic equation of state. The nature of the interaction between the matter and radiation is elucidated, and an alternate interpretation of the rate of interaction is presented.
