Intensity anomalies of galactic cosmic rays associated with solar-magnetic-field inversion are examined on the basis of data of stratospheric measurements (Murmansk) and neutron monitors for 1957-1983. These inversion anomalies are interpreted as the superposition of two types of phenomena causally connected with the inversions: The first phenomenon consists in a decrease and subsequent increase in the strength of the regular IMF in the heliosphere during inversion periods; while the second phenomenon consists in increases or decreases of the intensity of galactic-cosmic-ray nuclei depending on whether dMz/dt is negative or positive.
