Earlier calculations of the solar X-ray spectrum between 1 and 61 A are extended by the addition of the intensities of about 90 spectral lines up to 220 A from ions of the elements O, Ne, Mg, Si, S, Fe, and Ni for electron temperatures between 100,000 and 15 million K. The continuum emission is calculated in the temperature range between 100,000 and 100 million K for the wavelength region from 40 to 220 A.-
