The dynamical process in Hα flare loops on the solar disc is quantitatively discussed by using the observed data on the two-ribbon flare on May 16, 1981, taken with the Hα spectroheliograph and Hα chromospheric telescope at Yunnan Observatory, Kunming, as well as the X-ray data of the same flare from satellite "HINOTORI". It is firstly found that matter at the top of the Hα flare loops has initial velocity of several hundred km/s and the falling velocity of matter within the loops decelerates. The authors believe that these dynamical problems are related to the physical mechanism of flare loops.
