The cosmic H particles have been postulated for explaining the 'exotic' cosmic cluster events observed in ultrahigh-energy nuclear collisions. This study is aimed at giving a fair degree of concreteness to the H-particle conjecture. In an attempt to identify the H particles, principal stress is placed on two observed characteristics: (1) the exotic events are broadly divisible into two major and distinct classes, and (2) the total or near absence of photons among the hadronic particles produced during these events. Supportive evidence is then assembled favoring the idea that the proposed H particles might be viewed as cosmic psionlike particles.
