Different expressions for pressure tensors in multispecies plasmas are investigated for their physical meaning. Partial temperatures are introduced proportional to the partial translational energies (per particle). This leads to the definitions of translational energy tensors and temperature tensors proportional to the pressure tensors. Stress tensors are defined as differences of the corresponding pressure tensors and their values in local thermodynamic equilibrium. Heat flux vectors are defined as quantities with vanishing divergence under adiabatic constraints. Balance equations are established for masses, moments, pressures, temperatures, energies, enthalpy, stresses and heat fluxes.
