New information on the spatial structure of the source of daytime short-period irregular Pi1C pulsations is obtained by interpreting their spectral characteristics. One such characteristic is the upper frequency bound of the Pi1C noise over a specific time interval f sub 0, whose maximum defines the position of the source of the daytime Pi1C and its dimensions along the meridian. The change in f sub 0 with time along the chain of observatories makes it possible to determine the extent of the pulsation source along the parallel as well and thus to obtain the spatial pattern of the source and to evaluate its dimensions.
