Measurements of the setting Sun were carried out over a period of 16
months at Aliso Pier in Laguna Beach, CA, USA. The measurements are
treated with simple analyses to provide good estimates of the obliquity
of the ecliptic, and the eccentricity, velocities and radii of the
Earth's elliptical orbit about the Sun.
