I will present some of the results of a series of simulations of stellar collapse with a multi-group, multi-angle Feautrier transport code, using the tangent-ray method to derive the angular dependence of the radiation field. The spectral, species, and temporal character of the burst and the dependence of its features on progenitor mass and physics inputs will be reviewed, as will be the detectability of the burst by various underground neutrino telescopes. Support for this work was provided by the Scientific Discovery through Advanced Computing (SciDAC) program of the DOE, grant number DE-FC02-01ER41184.
