Aim of BOREXINO is to measure in real time low energetic solar neutrinos via neutrino electron scattering. Special interest in BOREXINO is the measurement of the counting rate of the 861 keV 7Be solar neutrinos in order to separate between scenarios beyond the standard model which are favored by the results of running solar neutrino experiments. .
