A solution is obtained to the nonlinear system of dynamic equations of an inviscid gaseous shell on a slowly rotating planet in the presence of a temperature field dependent on latitude phi as 1 + delta(cos2 phi - 2/3). The solution represents circulation forming a Hadley meridional cell with superposed superrotation of the atmosphere, i.e., an intense zonal flow in the direction of the planet's self-rotation. The qualitative similarity between this solution and the observed circulation of the Venusian atmosphere is discussed.
