Black Holes: Scattering, Black Holes: Gravitational Field

The differential cross section for backward scattering
(θ→π) of spinless particles with nonzero rest mass on the
background of a Schwarzschild geometry is calculated by
quantum-mechanical methods. It is shown that a glory exists if the
gravitational radius exceeds the particle wavelength.
