The origin of dust contamination in a major fraction of the cryptic
region of the South seasonal cap of Mars has yet to be determined. An
observation campaign in late 2008 / early 2009 with OMEGA, HIRISE, CRISM
and THEMIS has been set up for adressing this issue.
