The rotational motions induced by an external potential or by a surface loading pressure have been found in a previous study. These analytical solutions include resonance effects due to four normal modes: the classical Free Core Nutation and Chandler Wobble, and two new modes, the Free Inner Core Nutation and the Inner Core Wobble. In this paper, the expressions of these rotational motions are used in order to find an analytical expression for the perturbations in gravity and for the nutational motions. The atmospheric loading effect and the external tidal effect are both examined. Numerical results for frequencies near the resonance frequencies show the relative importance of the different normal mode effects. In particular, the S1 tidal wave and the corresponding annual nutation can have non-negligible contributions due to the presence of an inner core and due to atmospheric loading.
