Even if the high reddening of the Cygnus OB2 association makes the observations of its members in the ultraviolet region very difficult, few quite good IUE low resolution spectra of N° 8A star were taken in a couple of years. The most exciting feature of the UV spectra is the very strong C IV resonance line, which shows a clear P Cygni profile. A terminal velocity of the order of 5000 km/s can be estimated. From optical spectra a central depth Ac = 12.9% of the interstellar 4430 Å feature is derived.
