The Telescope Array experiment (TA) is a hybrid detector situated in the
USA consisting of a surface detector array and fluorescence detectors
for observing extensive air showers produced by ultra high energy cosmic
rays. The construction of the TA was finished and data taking with the
hybrid observation started in March 2008.
