We study the baryon density contrast between the quark-gluon and hadron phases during the confinement phase transition in the early universe. We include all observed hadronic resonances. Neglecting interhadronic forces the baryon density contrast is of order unity or less, while including interhadronic forces leads to a contrast of order 7, for 160
