Scientific paper

Fifteen gamma-ray bursts were detected during a seven-month experiment
on Prognoz-9. No significant concentration of gamma-ray burst sources
near the Galactic center was found. The influence of temporal and
spectral selection on the interpretation of the flux distribution of the
observed gamma-ray bursts is discussed.
