This paper deals with sixteen satellites which are of interest to elementary physics courses. Various parameters of the satellites' orbital motions are computed, and accurate plots of some of the orbits are included. The satellites are chosen to give an idea of the various types of orbits which have been achieved by artificial satellites. The computer programs used are available in the language BASIC. The best sources of information on the orbits of the various satellites were the journal Astronautica Acta and Allen's book, Astrophysical Quantities.
