Expressions for the coefficients of elasticity of collisions between air molecules and vapor molecules from the meteoroid surface are derived by solving the equations of momentum and energy conservation for a vaporizing meteor in a flow of oncoming air on the basis of the elastic interaction theory. The derived equations are applied to observation data. The obtained values of the coefficient of interaction elasticity lie in the 0.05-0.23 range. Its dependence on other parameters, in particular, the meteoroid velocity, is investigated.
