The effect of geometrical parameters of the holographic structure registration scheme on aberration characteristics of an adaptive telescope control channel is theoretically studied in a framework of third-order aberration theory for holograms. It is shown that with the same acceptable aberrations, the tolerances on longitudinal displacement of reference and object sources calculated on the basis of spherical aberrations are at least two orders of magnitude higher than those that take into account defocusing aberration. On the basis of this, an appropriate displacement of the reconstruction source, which is determined experimentally, is proposed as compensation for defocusing aberration in the control channel of telescope. The effect of deformation of the primary mirror surface during registration of the hologram on aberration of the control channel of telescope is analyzed. The tolerances on deformation of the mirror surface are shown to be substantially greater than the sensitivity of the form control technique used in the telescope, which significantly simplifies the holographic structure recording unit.
