The possibility of eliminating the supertranslation gauge freedom at scri via the introduction of a unique set of sections which provide a center of mass system of reference is explored. The present construction depends on the properties of the physical system at the fixed retarded time defined by these sections. A new definition of 'nice' sections at null infinity is defined by imposing the conditions on the supermomentum of Geroch and Winicour (1981). The local existence of a family of 'nice' sections around the original one is established for an asymptotically flat radiating spacetime under certain conditions.
