The coincidence of hard-X-ray emissions and microwave bursts with solar surges was studied, based on Solar Geophysical Data (SGD) and Hinotori Satellite measurements in four energy channels in the range 17-359 keV. The relationship between microwave and hard X-ray bursts was analyzed using the time correlation procedure of Swarup et al. (1960). It is found that 20 percent of the solar surges were associated with microwave bursts (2500-15000 MHz). No association between solar surges and hard X-ray bursts of 17-40 keV was found.
