Despite a considerable growth in space related industry and scientific research over the past few decades, space related education has largely been neglected in our country. NAROM - the National Centre for Space Related Education - was formed in 2000 to organize space related educational activities, to promote recruitment, to promote appreciation for the benefits of space activities, and to stimulate interest for science in general. This year, and for the eight year in a row, NAROM and the Norwegian Association of Young Scientists arrange an European Space Camp for youths at the Andøya Rocket Range in Norway. During the space camp the students attend lectures and perform experiments using the instruments and facilities at the range.
