Generalized tetrahedral models for a homogeneous, empty, closed universe at a particular moment of time are constructed using Regge calculus. It is shown that of the four possible configurations of tetrahedra, only two have a moment of time symmetry if the space inside is empty. The possibility of using Regge calculus to describe the time evolution of the tetrahedra is discussed.
