Eclipses used for imaging studies of accretion disks in cataclysmic binaries are described. The light curves of eclipsing dwarf novae reveal the changes that occur in their disks over the course of the outburst cycle. These eclipse studies provide data with which to test models of the dwarf nova outburst. The assumptions that underly the widely discrepant mass determinations for these systems are examined. It is suggested that the most reliable method for estimating the masses employs the eclipse contacts of white dwarf and bright spot and the velocity separation of the emission peaks.
