Artificial Satellites: Orbits

Scientific paper

The investigation of evolution of orbits with eccentricities of the order of the Earth's oblateness with the use of the averaging method developed by V. M. Volosov (1971) is continued. With a partially modified system of variables, the second approximation is obtained both for five slow variables characterizing the evolution of the orbit and for the fast variable describing the velocity of motion along the orbit. The third approximations for two terms of the Jacobi integral are found.
