We propose simultaneous observations of the ultrafast rotating late-type star Speedy Mic at X-ray, near UV and optical wavelengths. In this way we want to study the spatial correlation of coronal, chromospheric and photospheric activity phenomena. The proposed study includes time-resolved high resolution spectroscopy monitoring of key line ratios, probing the distribution of coronal temperatures, densities and elemental abundances.The requirement of strictly simultaneous observations results from the short-lived nature of active regions on Speedy Mic. Our proposal is based on our previous results from VLT measurements constructing a Doppler image of Speedy Mic and finding pronounced rotational modulation of CaII emission.
