The NLS1 1H 0707-495 exhibits a sharp spectral feature at around 7keV. The measured energy and sharpness of the feature implied K-absorption by neutral iron; however, the absence of a fluorescence line suggested a more complicated situation. It has recently been shown that this form of spectral complexity may be pervasive in all NLS1 to some degree. Both ionised disc reflection and partial-covering can be used to explain the observed broadband properties of 1H 0707, as both models reproduce very similar spectra in low-flux states. However, in higher flux states the two models will manifest very different spectral and timing properties. We propose to examine 1H 0707 at 5 epochs for 40ks each time to determine the flux-dependent behaviour of the NLS1, which will reveal a physical AGN model.
