Attempts were made to correlate decimetric, metric and decametric radio spectra data with solar H-alpha surges associated and not associated with flare events. The radio data were collected at the Weissenau and Sagamore Hill Observatories. Approximately 45 percent of nonassociated surges were highly correlated with radio bursts, while 24 percent of flare-associated surges were correlated with type I bursts and 29 percent were highly correlated with type III bursts.
