The general approach for solving the Brans-Dicke field equations for a
nonstatic charged dust distribution using a Robertson-Walker type of
metric is presented. It is shown that the general solution depends
entirely on three equations involving only two unknown quantities. The
condition for obtaining a complete and exact solution is given.
