The study of symbiotic stars plays an important role in stellar evolution, so we started an observational program of this type of stars using the facilities of the Observatory of the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao. The first observations of EG And (Andromedae) were made using a Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) camera with a clear filter. As a result, the star EG And was measured between 1992 and 1994.
