We discuss the formation of first galaxies beginning from the dark
matter minihalos to present galaxies, including the formation and
evolution of the first generation of stars (Population III). We review
the recent achivements in the observations both galaxies at high
redshifts and extremely metal - poor stars in our Galaxy.
