So-called material time introduced to gravitating hydrodynamics by Kijowski and Tulczyjew is used as a time parameter in cosmology. Its relation to the conformal time in Friedmann-Robertson-Walker cosmology is shown and an analytic solution to the Friedmann equation describing the universe filled with monoatomic gas with rest mass is found using elliptic Weierstrass functions.
