Modified forms of Kepler's laws are obtained using an equation for the variation of mass and consideration is given to the two-body problem of the earth-moon system. It is shown that the new formulation allows consideration of a two-way interaction of a particle and a distant agglomeration of matter, while the Kepler problem only permits investigation of a one-way interaction between the particle and the distant matter.
