In order to conserve on space probe fuel, a scheme for inducing alteration in the orbital elements of a spacecraft by playing on the gravitational fields of a planet and its moons is presented. The technique is based on a simplified model of motion for the moons and the probe. The moons are considered to be in a circular orbit on the equatorial plane of the planet. The calculation method is explained and demonstrated, taking a tour of the moons of Jupiter as an example.
