The Corot space instrument will use large CCD (EEV 4280, 2k*2k of
sensitive area) built in array to observe wide field of stars during
long run observations. We began, at Meudon Observatory, tests on a
smaller chip (EEV 4720, 1k*1k of sensitive area) built with the same
technology. The CCD are bought at Marconi-Applied-Technologies.
