Three-color observations made from 1971 to 1976 revealed intrinsic variability of the eclipsing binary star VZ CVn. From new times of minimum the period is improved. Using only 1976 observations, two sets of elements, which can be considered as limits for the possible range of values, have been deduced by applying the method of Wood (1972). The system is detached, and the kind of variability is discussed.
