The Rietveld method was used to refine basic crystal structure parameters schreibersite skeletal crystals from the Vicenice IID iron meteorite. An estimate of the most possible nickel site occupancies within the crystal structure on the basis of weighted pattern R-factor for some model cases of the nickel distribution showed that the individual atom sites assigned to iron and nickel are each occupied by different amount of nickel, assuming all sites fully occupied by atoms.
