It will be shown how different sections of the Kruskal manifold can be identified in a way which preserves the regularity and time orientability of the metric. The spacetime which is obtained has the interesting property that it describes an eternal black hole, but the extra asymptotically flat section which occurs in the Kruskal manifold is absent. I will briefly discuss the observations of classical observers, and the occurrence of the Hawking effect in this spacetime.
