Adaptive Optics: Infrared Images
Scientific paper
The authors describe an adaptive optical system which will be built to
achieve diffraction limited imaging in the infrared with a 4 m class
telescope. The instrument under construction is planned to correct in
real time the aberrations induced by atmospheric turbulence and to
obtain sub-arcsecond astronomical images.
